Halloween 2011

Lucas and his friend Alex. Lucas is the werewolf. They decided they needed candy too.

Addison was a ladybug. She wasn't scared at all. She was running house to house. Brayden and his friend Aaron could not keep up.

This is Brayden and his 4th grade class after their Halloween parade. He got his braces off after the parade. It was in plenty of time to eat all that sticky candy.

the beach and fishin

Lucas's favorite hobby is fishing. He would go everyday if we let him. This was his first go at trout fishing.

We went to the lake this summer with our good friends the Neuschafers. Jen, Addie, Maddox, and I spent some time on the beach while the others were in the boat.

It was so hot that day at the beach. You couldn't even walk on the sand without shoes.

Halloween 2010

Addison was a sunflower for Halloween this year.

Brayden was Dan from Bakugon for Halloween.

We went the the local farmers market to pick out our pumpkins.

Lucas played soccer this fall!

He was part of the JV team.

We took the kids to the state fair this year again. We only went one night so they could go on the rides.

The swings were not one of my favorite rides as a kid, but Brayden' s stomach doesn't seam to mind.

Dad and the kids always do the slide. It is a tradition.

This is the night they announced all the teens doing fall sports. They had over 40 boys on the soccer team this year.

First day of school

Lucas is starting his freshman year in high school this year.

Brayden is a 3rd grader this year! He is super excited to see his friends again.

a weekend at mom and dads

The kids always have fun going to the farm to visit mom and dad. This time they had 3 different sets of kittens. One set was born while we were there. Brayden insisted on bringing one home. Of course we didn't bring one home. One dog is enough!

The kids had fun playing with the well. I thought it dried up along time ago but I guess not. They spent at least an hour pumping water to fill the water table.
