Christmas Day 2009

So good to be with family at Christmas.
Brook is watching Brayden play DS.

This is our nephew Miles playing with his new car.

Addison is helping Lucas open his gift from grandpie and grandmie.
Brayden got a GIJoe DS game.
Brayden is checking out what Brook got for Christmas.

Addison got an UNO game.
Cora got a beanbag from Santa this year. She was really excited about it.

Miles smiled all day long on Christmas day.
Aunt Misti was reading books to Miles and Addison.

Christmas morning

Lucas got some games and movies for his PSP!
Addison got a Snow White barbie and horse from Santa.

Brayden got some DS games and GIJoes. As you can see he was very excited.

Christmas Eve with grandma and grandpa

Grandpa and grandma came to spend the day with us. We had our big ham meal, opened presents, and went to Christmas Eve service. The only thing that would have made it better was if Brad and family would have been here.

Lucas is never a willing participant when it it time to take pictures.

Addison's new haircut

I took a picture of Addison with her stocking.
I took a pic of Brayden too by his stocking, but of course Lucas did not want his picture taken with his.

Brayden and Addison just love to get their picture taken together! They play so well together.

I wanted to get a few pics of Addison by the Christmas tree.

Christmas 09 in front of the tree. It was wonderful time with the kids this year. God has blessed us greatly this year. We are thankful for all he has given us. We are most thankful for the birth of his son Jesus. Children are such a blessing!

We went to Millenium Park in Chicago. It was quite cold but a fun trip.
I enjoyed watching the kids skating. All I could think was the kids would love to skate here. They only time I have been ice skating I never got too far from the edge.

This was at Millenium Park. Interesting is all I have to say about it.
This was I want to say alligator snapping turtle. It was quite unique. This was at the Shedd Aquarium. If you go to Chicago you have to visit the aquarium.

They had a awesome show with penguins, whales, dolphins, eagle, and a walrus. If you sat on the bottom row you got to pet the penguins.
The view was just beautiful.

We got the experience riding the bus in Chicago. It was not as scary as I thought it would be.
This was the fruit turkey Aunt Misti made for Thanksgiving. I thought it deserved a picture. I thought it was quite amazing.

I took some pictures of Addison before church one day out on the deck. She is always a willing participant.
Mom finally got in one picture. Actually Scott tries to take pictures of me all the time but I am always resistant. You know bad hair days and everything.
Lucas's deer that he got this weekend.

This is the kids at the Christmas parade. I had to get ready for the craft fair but dad was so great to take the kids out for some fun!

This is Sophie! She was our dog for a few days only. She was a sweet dog but too active to be a house dog. She will make someone a great dog. We are still hoping to add a dog to our family.
